T1 over Ethernet Multiplexer (TDM Over IP / T1 over Packet) solutions
The VCL-T1 over Ethernet multiplexer (TDM over IP / T1 over Ethernet / T1 over Packet) product is used to provide upto 1T1, 2T1, 8T1, 16T1 or 32 communication channels over Ethernet or IP networks. This product transmits information at T1 (1.544 Mbit/s). The equipment supports point-to-point and point-to-multi-point applications. To transport T1 channels over an Ethernet or an IP network and to accelerate traditional telecom services to migrate to the IP packet networking technology, the VCL-T1 over Ethernet multiplexer product uses TDM over IP technology. This solution transports the legacy T1 data through the existing Ethernet or IP network. VCL-T1 over Ethernet multiplexer product is the new generation of the TDM over IP equipment with IP circuit emulation that supports transportation of up to 32 T1 and 4 local Ethernet ports over an Ethernet or an IP network. The uplink Ethernet ports and user data port are IEEE 802.3 compliant, 10/100/1000BaseT auto-sensed ports.
